Scrapper's Daily Is Open -- Join Free!
Friday, 5/22/09 ... and Good afternoon!
I am on holiday today. And all next week! I love vacations.
Scrapper's Daily. What is it?
It's a free scrapping group. It is over at Eons. You open a free account, set up your profile, and then find things to interest you.
You can do your own blog. Create your own group. Join groups. Give virtual gifts that you earn by responding to posts, and receive them, of course. You make friends.
It's a wonderful place. Scrapper's Daily's home page is:
http://www.eons.com/groups/group/scrappers-daily
This group is still new. Only 2 members, but looking to grow.
It is an active group because I am the moderator, and I am active. There is something for every day.
If you are a scrapper, and you just live to scrap, check it out. We'd love to have you.
If you create, we're still happy to have you. It's not just about "me"; it's about all of us -- old and new.
Since I am active in it, and just live to create -- I am looking for members that would like to post at least 2x a week. That still leaves plenty of time to do other things; like enjoy the great out doors; especially with spring being here.
There are many items to choose from to use to scrap with, and it is not limited to just those items, but allows you to use other items, including those you've picked up, as long as they are free for you to use.
Today's postings are just a few of the items over the last couple of days.
So, get on over to Scrapper's Daily, and think about joining. Then do it!
These items can also be found at:
http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com
Come help us make some fun ... while you show us your stuff!

Free items in Scrapper's Daily
Monday, 5/11/09
Good Monday morning to you all,
These are the 3 items offered in Scrapper's Daily this morning.
With Mother's Day being over, perhaps you're looking to make a "thank you" card for the gifts received yesterday.
I thank:
- my daughter, her husband, and my granddaughter for a beautiful and wonderful meal at their home yesterday and all the following:
- the gifts, 2 items for scrapping (I love 'em), a gift card to Michaels, and a wind chime (I've always loved wind chimes)
- the flower arrangement -- in RED!
- the 105+ pictures my granddaughter took with my camera
- the cake my daughter made with her loving and busy hands
(she's taken cake-decorating, so she's creative too)
- the Chinese lantern my granddaughter crafted with her creative hands
-My son and Kathy:
- For the gift card, and the bread they brought to the meal
- My daughter's mother and father-in-law:
- The wonderful "cinnamon-home scented" candle and candle holder (shot glass: oops! private joke here)
- My son and daughter-in-law in MA:
- For the gift card and phone call
And for all the cards.
We had about 4 hours of fun together. It was so wonderful, and probably the best Mother's Day I've ever had. Thank you all! (I will be making and sending cards!)
My daughter's meal was one she grew up on, and that I received from a friend/neighbor in my first year of marriage. Nope; it was my second year. Poor Man's Stroganoff.
Simple easy for you:
1 # stew meat
1 large can of Cream of Mushroom/or Cream of Chicken soup (do not add any liquid as it creates it's own)
Put both in a crock pot in the morning or before going to bed, and let cook on low. If you are up, stir occasionally.
Serve over mashed potatoes, noodle, rice, or even bread.
Double to make larger batches. I use to double it, and use one of each soup.
Have a great day.

Mother's Day Right Around The Corner
Good morning -- this Friday, 5/1/09
This little deco box can be used as a card front, or as part of a bigger scrapping page for mom on her big day. And it is coming up ... it's right around the corner.
This item or it's parts can be found at my website. There are additional items that can be used instead.
Some are very vibrant, so go check them out.
So what big plans do you have for Mother's Day? Does your mother live in town, close to you, or out-of-town? Are you going for a visit? Or are you just sending a card/gift?
I am going to my daughter's house where all 3 moms will be present. It will be a wonderful time together.
Do I mind sharing Mother's Day?
No! While I gave birth to her, her husband's birth mother will also be present, and they honoring her as well. And she's a wonderful lady, and I always enjoy seeing her. And my daughter is blessed to have a step-mother, too. And she is a delightful lady, and I enjoy seeing her.
We three moms are blessed with their company, and our one grandchild here. Her mother-in-law has only the one grandchild here, and her step-mom has more grandchildren, as she has 3 grown daughters of her own. I am sure she will see them all for Mother's Day, too.
When I was young and married, it was always the younger generation running and splitting up holidays to be with this mom, and that mom. We went to my mom's this holiday, and we'd go to that moms on another holiday, when they lived out-of-town.
I think my daughter's way of celebrating is much nicer for everyone. At least, I like it. It's less stressful for my daughter's family and daughter.
To wrap up, plan a card for MOM! You can find these items and more here:
And check out the other days. There's always more.
Pre Happy Mother's Day!
