Sculpey Cat from Clay and some free png graphics
Good morning!
This is my png post for today.
I saw this little sculpey cat on pinterest, and made my own version. The tail wraps from the back around to the left side and around. In the picture, it looks different, mainly because he's all black and white. It's hard to make out the tail.
He is a sculpey cat from clay, in a cartoon-fashion.
The decorations are items you can use for scrapping, so hope you enjoy them.
Have a great day!

A Special ART POSTCARD for a friend
Good Tuesday morning!
Yesterday, I shared my little mice I made- the newer ones.
Today, I took one of my mice and tubed it, and added it to my new little mini, one day kit, offered for free at my website. Items are in a zip file, and free for you to snag and use in your own creations. All of the items in the card are in the kit.
I used these graphics to create an ART POSTCARD to send to a sweet friend. Along with the card, she will get her very own mouse. She is getting the one that is actually in the picture. It will go out today, after I get it printed on photo paper. I put everything in a bubble envelope to protect the postcard and mouse.
She loves getting these little items.
And here is a free png for you to snag today. If you go over to my website, you can pick up all the graphics.
Enjoy!

February Calendar, Valentine's Day mice, and FREE small flower pngs
Good afternoon!
Today, I have a basic February calendar for you. Of course, February is almost over, but I'll try to get the March calendar up earlier.
February has been a very strange month this year. A lot of days have been in the 40's, and lots of sunshine. We have had snow, usually on the weekends. But there has been a day or two where it snowed on a week day.
On Friday, the 15th, it started in the morning. I left early from work by about 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was planning on going to my daughters, but after she and her daughter had flu last week; her husband was now down with it! My husband had a vacation day, so I headed home.
It really snowed pretty good, and we had more on Saturday, and throughout the night, because there was morning snow in our street this morning! Funny ... it's supposed to be back up into the 40's tomorrow! Amazing; but I love it!
Tomorrow is Washington's birthday; also called President's Day. I am off, and that is very nice.
The last time I posted, I wanted to show you a picture of my Valentine's Day presents to co-workers. Unfortunately, my phone was NOT sending my pictures to my email box. My husband got it configured for me, so now ... I'm up and running again.
I put 8 of these little mice in a black bowl. They don't have their bows on them yet. I made a total of 16 mice. Three of them have magnets on the back of them to put on the fridge.
I wanted to make one that my granddaughter could play with. Being almost 3, she is still a little young to have items with glued-on features.
I made 3 bigger mice. One is hot pink, like the ones above, with a cream colored nose. This time, I made the pompom and tied it through the front of the face. I hope to have those pictures tomorrow.
Her eyes are heart-shaped red buttons, with a little flower sticker attached. The bow on hers is sewn on it's head between it's ears. I think this will work.
I also made a cream colored mouse, and a totally white mouse. I will also have pictures of those tomorrow.
Everyone at work loved their little mice. I also gave them a small box of candy hearts with sayings. It's traditional for Valentine's Day, and something sweet is always wonderful.
I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day. My sweet husband bought me a small orchid plant with white flowers tipped in red. I still have the orchid plant from last year, and it has little buds on it now.
He bought me some chocolates in a velvet heart-shaped box. He knows how I love keeping them to store my scrapping items in. It is beautiful.
The card he bought me is the absolute sweetest he's ever picked up. I was totally "blown away"!
And here is a little something in a png graphic for you today. These are 8 small flowers, and can be used freely in your scrapbooking or card making.
I have several kits up now on my website, so hurry on over and check them out. There is a zip file for downloading the items. Items are free, and can be found in psp, png, and jpg format.
Till tomorrow; have a great day. It's almost 4 pm now, so it's almost over.
Take care ... and enjoy!

Free Zip File Kits Offered
Good, good morning,
I am working at home today, and is almost time for me to get connected. First, a post for today.
The above png is your free png graphic for today. It is from yesterday's kit 13-0207, and can be picked up at my website.
The kit comes with psp layers, pngs, and jpgs, all zipped together.
This little graphic was done yesterday and represents my new kit posted today. Kit 13-0212. It is also free to snag.
It is red and black kit and has about 8 flower frames like the one above. There is no writing on those items, but left for you to decorate and use as you like. Below this flower frame, made smaller for this post, is a flower chain. Use as an accent or border by placing several together. (There are more items in the kit/not shown here.)
I've been busy making Valentine mice. The little faces are shaped hearts turned upside down and little round mouse ears attached. They have white or pink pompom noses, which I also made. Little eyes are the movable kind.
I'll have pictures tomorrow.
I took them this morning, but lost track of time, so I haven't edited them yet.
Check back tomorrow to see 9 of the "meeces" in a bowl. I want to add a bow to their heads where their ears are, if I have time. I have 7 more in the works, as I have a lot to give out.
See you tomorrow!
Have a great day!

Free Pngs, Jpgs, PSP Graphics
Good morning!
Blogger is working for me again. Yahoo!
So ... I am back with some new kits. I've revamped my website, and am offering free kits again.
They are more like mini kits, but it's a great way to add new graphics to your digital or physical scrapbooking or card making stash. (I work on a canvas of 600 x 700, so the graphics are NOT huge. I know downloading huge kits always cause my computer to belch ... and then I have to resize them to keep and use them. I don't download many at all since they are usually so huge. The graphics are 300 dpi.)
I couldn't decide whether to stay with my website, and then decided to give it another try. Everything on my old website came down! And voila! A brand new start!
This kit above is 13-0203, and it started on 2/3/13 (Sun.) and ran for six days. It ended Fri. 2/8. I present several items each day in a zip kit. They come in psp, jpg, and png format. They can be used digitally, or printed out and used physically to make your own creations.
Even though a kit has ended, it is still on my website. It will be till my website gets full, and then older kits will be taken down to make way for newer kits.
They are free to use, and to sell in any creations you use them for that you make with credit only for my graphics.
The only thing you may not do is sell them as yours. You may not put them on a disk and sell them.
Otherwise, they are completely free for you to grab and create with.
Here is one of the pngs for you grab from my blog from kit 13-0203.
This is my second kit: 13-0207. It started on Sat. 2/9 and ends today 2/11. In the zip for this kit, I put all of the items for this kit on day one. With Valentine's Day being so close, I wanted you to have the opportunity to use any of these graphics in your Valentines that you might be creating.
This kit comes with two different backgrounds, and a second saying: Crazy For You instead of Sweet Valentine.
And here is a blogspot png from kit 13-0207 for you snag right now.
Tomorrow's kit will be up tomorrow morning. I'm trying to stay a kit ahead so I always have something to publish on time.
I also now keep a folder for future kit ideas. They hold many items for future use.
I'm glad to be back ... and I hoping everything continues to work. It is very frustrating to get on a roll and then fall off ... due to technology. Sometimes its just life that causes a lapse in publishing, too.
Enjoy the graphics.

Monday morning Flower Fun
Good Monday morning,
Just a little flower fun today. I like this quote. We are each unique ... and should thrive in our uniqueness. I hope you are.
This is the first part of my creation. I was just having fun, and making flowers. Also there are two borders in there. One of the flowers can be a frame, with just a word inside: such as UNIQUE.
And here are your pngs for today. I really love this simple little flower and it's colors. Use the free graphics in any of your own creations.
This border is horizonal in the final picture, and vertical in the starting picture. You can turn it in a graphics editing program (rotate).
Have a wonderful Monday!

Three Christmas Tags and a Snowflake Paper
Good Sunday morning,
Today, I have 3 Christmas tags to consider. This first one above is a snowflake tag. Use a white gel pen to add the names.
"Owl" be having a merry Christmas tag. Just a little funny tag.
Another funny tag with this little Christmas mouse. Feel free to color him, if you wish.
And this is a paper to print out and use for whatever you wish. It matches the snowflake gift tag.
Just some fun graphics, mostly black and white today.
Have a great Sunday.

Comical Christmas Tree graphics
Good Saturday morning,
A comical Christmas tree for you to use today. This first one above is a jpg and is complete with saying. It is free to use on any of your projects. Created by me.
The next Christmas tree graphics are all pngs, to pull into a graphics editing program and decorate as you please. Here he is with a red bow tie.
And this one has a modified green bow tie.
And this last comical Christmas tree has no bow tie at all. Perhaps you want to make your own or use another you have on hand. The main thing is ... enjoy!
Hope you're day is filled with happiness ... and creating!

2012 Christmas Card for work, and free pngs for you!
Good Friday morning,
Yesterday, I gave out my Christmas cards at work. The png graphic above is all of the elements together. This is the front of the card, and was put on a piece of larger card stock that I inked around.
This is just the png graphic girl. Her hat is a little reindeer hat that I created. Yes, she is unusual, but I like unusual.
This is the little png graphic mouse that I added to the front of the card. He was made several years ago.
This is "funky" reindeer, and he was made last year, I think. He's holding a little flower in his hand.
This is how the inside of my card looked, when all put together. This was also put on larger card stock, and inked around.
And finally, the tree. If I'd had time, I was going to write diagonally, like garland, on the tree. Maybe Christmas words, like joy, peace, and love. Or Jesus, savior, love, for a more religious-style meaning.
After all, the reason for the season, is Jesus.
Unfortunately, when I got ready to print out my graphics to assemble, my printer was down. I've been having a lot of trouble with it going off-line. It would print one graphic, and then it would go off-line. This time, it just didn't want to go back online.
Since I've been having trouble with it for awhile, I had purchased an HP Officejet 4622 about a month ago. It's been sitting in my granddaughters room, waiting for me to use up all the ink from my old printer. Alas, I was not able to use it all up, but it was almost empty.
So my dear husband, installed my new printer. I like it because I can buy my ink cartridges separately, and I checked before buying this printer, to see how much those ink cartridges were going to cost me each time. They are cheaper, and it will be easier to fit in my budget, as I will only need to buy whichever color is low. I like that. I usually try to keep one set on hand, in case I run low when doing a project.
Our Christmas party is today. I am going in a little later this morning, and I have my white elephant gifts ready to go. I crocheted a slip-in type rectangle cover and slipped a little journal inside. I'll post pictures of that in another post. I tied little handmade, crocheted flowers to the top, in case the receipant wanted to remove them.
I have a box of candy to go with it, and I'll try to come up with some original decoration for it.
I hope you all are enjoying your parties!
Have a terrific day!

Christmas graphics AND a thyroid tip for thyroid concerns
An early good morning to all,
The above graphic is a jpg, and it's a decoration I did this morning. It would make a nice Christmas card front, or tag for gifts. It is free to use however you wish. (I hope to make some accessories to go with this over the next few days.)
This graphic is the same thing, but in png format, in case you have a graphics editing program.
I am pleased to announce, to those who read my blog, that after having a "whipple" operation back at the end of July, my body seems to finally be returning to normal. Two months after the whipple, my hair started falling out -- FAST! Anyone who has experienced this knows ... it's dreadfully frightening.
About three days ago, my hair finally stopped ... yes! STOPPED falling out. What I'm getting now seems to be normal hair loss, which is great, since the two months of losing it, has left it much thinner.
Now, I am ON THE MEND! (It should grow back in, but I don't think it will be as thick as before due to age.)
A tip for today, due to my reading, is USE BUTTER, if you have thyroid problems. It seems that butter doesn't slow iodine uptake in your body the way margarine and polyunsaturated fats can. Polyunsaturated fats would be canola oil and corn oil, which I used to use -- way back when.
This tip is from reading Woman's World, and comes from the 12/3/12 issue, page 16. The article is called NATURAL HEALTH: Stressed? Tired? Gaining weight? Fix your "broken" thyroid.
Thyroid issues run in my family, so this little bit of news helps a lot. This issue is still in the stores through Thursday. My stores always seems to put out the new one on Friday's ... so there's still two days to pick it up.
Enjoy the graphics and the tip!

Happy Graphics
Good morning,
Okay ... I was trying to save this to post for Monday morning, but it doesn't seem to want to save. Sooooo. I think I'll post it now ... but ... it's for tomorrow morning!
Yes ... I am back as promised ... with my orange dot face. The little colorful dot is orange dot when he's blushing. They are "happy" graphics.
Also another digital flower to enjoy; as I'm really into those.
One quick tip today, which I wish I'd known before I went into the hospital, is this: there are two websites you can check to see the safety of your hospital before entering. One that rates by letters (A through F --like school used to do) is found at www.hospitalsafetyscore.org. They measure on 26 safety measures and standards.
The search is free.
Consumer Reports subscribers can search ratings 1-100 based on six safety categories at www.consumerreports.org/hospitalratings.
One last site: www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov helps with info on more than 4,000 Medicare-certified hospitals nationwide.
Wow!
Have a great day!

New Free Flower Png: Corel Painter 12/Yeah!
Good Evening,
I am back with a brand new flower png. It is free to you to grab. I hope you enjoy it.
I'm excited today because I bought Corel's Painter 12 program. It's normally $429.00, but is on sale until Cyber Monday ... tomorrow. A great price at $199.00! It's my Christmas gift to me. (It's been a hard year!)
This flower was started in Painter 12. It turned out beautifully. I love the colors.
I love all the brushes and effects you can get. And the shading and mixing is to die for! I really like this program, and I haven't even "brushed" the surface yet! Pun intended.
And for me ... a lot of the fun is in flowers, although I do other graphics. But I just love those flowers.
I also did a little bear graphic this morning, and an orange dot face. Perhaps I'll post those tomorrow. Come back and check.
The weekend is almost over now, but lots of people will still be shopping online and on location, I'm sure, through tomorrow.
I went shopping with my daughter yesterday. I was able to get most of my gifts for my two granddaughters, and something for her. I was thoroughly exhausted when I got home. It was still early, but I went to sleep and slept till 12:30 am, and was still sore when I woke up. (I am still recovering, I think.)
I am not buying for everyone this year, but mainly keeping it closer to home. The economy has taken a real bite out of spending, and with my surgery, and five procedures this year; a lot of change has been dropped on medical bills.
Have a great evening. I hope to be back tomorrow with a new png and news!
Take care.

Thanksgiving Traditions and Salt Water Color Painting: Yeah!
Happy Thanksgiving ... again!
Before I go and get ready for my day, I wanted to share this first graphic for starting new family traditions. I admit I got the original idea from Woman's World. They had several listed, and this one was for just taking a stroll, but I added a twist to it.
This is a way to get to talk to more family members, because, while you walk, you are only giving each person five minutes to chat together. That way, you don't miss anyone on your visit.
If the group is too large, split them up, and do the same thing for each group separately.
I am an avid new Pinterest lover. It's so addicting, and I think people like it because its a way of hoarding ... without having it be a real problem. No fire hazard, no mess around the house. It's all up there in "internet land", but makes it easy to find whatever it is your looking for. A type of "file system" that helps you keep your interests organized.
So this picture above is about a website I went to, that I found on Pinterest, about salt water color painting. I was thrilled.
Check it out for yourself here: http://www.housingaforest.com/raised-salt-painting/
I read the instructions, and proceeded to do MY OWN salt water color painting. It says, "Thanks" and there is a smiley face underneath. (My husband couldn't see that. Can you?")
Of course, the website will tell you that it's best to take a picture of your creation, as once it dries, it has a tendency to loose its crystal.
Me? I love to take ANY ART I've created, and pull it into my digital editing graphics program ... and play, play, play. The flower off to the left of my drawing is my "play".
And for your "snagging" today, I've offered this png flower graphic. I hope you'll enjoy it!
Happy Thanksgiving!
See you later.

Happy Thanksgiving: Some pngs and jpg graphics for you to enjoy!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Today, I have two pngs, the owl "I am Blessed" graphic, and the outline butterfly and flower png for you to color. Feel free to download both and use. And have a terrific Thanksgiving!
I am blessed to spend our meal today with my daughter and her delightful family, and other family members. I am taking mashed potatoes and gravy to this wonderful gathering.
Here is a jpg for you to also snag and use. The quote is one you've seen around at a lot of different places. I drew the butterfly, the little fairie, and designed the paper. I hope you'll find a use for it, too.
This last little graphic is a png, so when downloaded into a graphics program, there is NO WHITE BACKGROUND. Feel free to digitially color it.
And for all the delightful kiddies that are celebrating Thanksgiving with you, just download into a word program, and click on it to get squares to edit it. Pull a corner to make it bigger, unclick. Add the child's name to their page, and print it out. Do one for each child. (Hope you have some crayons!) Give it to them to color for extra fun.
Have a marvelous day today, and remember to count all your blessings. Enjoy sharing your meal and minutes of today with your loved ones. And take some pictures to scrap.
If you're looking for some new traditions to start or just a fun thing to do ... read my next post.
Enjoy!

Owl Scrapping Pngs: Free and Social Security's Direct Express Card
Good morning!
To find the pngs for this scrapping project:
http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/today-11-13-2012.html
It's Tuesday morning, and I am working from home today and tomorrow, but have a short time before I have to start.
I did a scrapping project yesterday, that I am featuring today at my website. You will find a zip file with 12 pngs inside. Open it in your graphics editing program to have the object only, no white backgrounds. Use to design your own scrapping projects. Fun!
By clicking through on the link above, you will see the picture I posted with me, my husband, and my granddaughter.
I designed all the elements in this zip file. The little owl is a sculpey creation I did a couple of weeks back. You'll also see the other owls I created, and two heart faces. I love to use my sculpeys in my art, and also on cards. I make ornaments, little stand alone creations, and jewelry. So much fun.
On another note: Food for Thought: Did you know that Social Security is phasing out all paper checks by March 1, 2013? What do you do?
All benefits must be paid electronically by March 1, 2013. You can get your payments directly deposited into your checking account OR to a Social Security Direct Express card (if you don't have a checking account). Your card is good for making purchases, paying bills or getting cash.
Apply for a card by calling Social Security at 800-333-1795 or get details at:
http://www.godirect.org
This information was taken from AARP/Ask the Experts: Diet and Social Security Checks: November 2012.
Have a terrific day!

Scrapping a past Florida Vacation
Good morning,
I am off today ... celebrating Veteran's Day. Thank you, all you Veterans out there. That would include my son, John, and my husband, Ray. Ray was actually in a ceremony at my granddaughters school on Friday. I went to it, and it was a wonderful program! Thank you, for being brave enough to fight for our freedom.
The picture today is of 2 of my 3 kids, longing to go out onto the beach, on a vacation many years ago. We just arrived in our hotel room, and the beach is just outside the window. Even though they are faced away, it begged to be scrapped.
I love the vent blowing just below my daughter's skirt, puffing it up Marilyn Monroe style.
We had so much fun on our vacations, which usually included beach time. Ahhh! Such memories.
On my website, you can find today's items here:
http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/today-11-12-2012.html
Jpgs and pngs are available. The pngs are in a zipped file.
This is how I colored my frame. I do have a quick frame that you can insert your own picture.
There are also the items uncolored, in black and white, for you to color either digitally or by printing out and coloring by hand.
Have fun!

Halloween Frame featuring past Family Times
Good morning,
After doing the last post, I talked about how this frame would look wonderful as a Halloween item. I had an old picture of me and my children, when we were all much younger, that I scrapped from a past Halloween.
I thought it would be much nicer to show you how easily the frame can be used. This just took a second in my graphics program. (Oh! How wonderful!)
And I do love posting some of my past FAMILY TIMES. Having and raising children, have been the best years of my life.
The nice thing you can do with these pictures, after you complete them, is print them out on photo paper. I love to do a large one, about 8 x 10. I have a notebook with many such pictures in it, and I keep them in protective pages in it. I also sometimes do smaller versions of the pictures. More like wallet size. In fact, this one would make a good postcard to send to my kids. I'm sure they would enjoy having one.
I need to buy several new frames, and hang them on my wall. I could take pictures out and feature them at corresponding times of the year. Like decoating for Christmas ... or in this case, Halloween, it would make a wonderful conversation piece.
What do you think?

Color Me Flower
Good morning,
There are many coloring pages out there today. My black and white graphics have always been available for you to color. Just go to http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com, and download any of the graphics. It doesn't matter if they're already colored, or in black and white for you to color.
In this simple flower, I've colored mine above. It was done digitally, but you can do them by hand also. You can get depth by coloring the inside of an item a lighter color, and using a darker color around the edges. It's amazing how much depth you can add ... by hand.
Above is a jpg of the uncolored flower: Color Me.
And this is a png graphic(above), so if you download it, and open it in a graphics program, you can color it digitally. It should have no white background in a digital program.
I have tons of new graphics you can color today, so head on over and pick some up.
I will be posting one more item today, It will be in jpg and png format as well. See in in the next post.
Enjoy!

Christmas Wish List 2--free png graphic kit downloads
Good Sunday morning! My first picture just represents the number of days left to work this year! Oh my! Only 4 days!!!
Hey! I do love my job, and I am so thankful to have it. It's interesting ... and harrowing, at the same time. I will NOT go into the details though.
This picture shows 4 of the items in Wish List 2 (Wish List 1 is on 12/11.) There are about 8 backgrounds, 2 papers, and some miscellaneous items that didn't make it into yesterday's kit.The kit has a psp layered set for those that have a graphics program. They are in psp format.
Then there are the individual pngs also. There are a few jpgs in every kit as well. Most of the things in png format and psp format are transparencies. They are all free to use p-cu (personal-commercial use ... with credits). They are perfect for scrapbooking.
Most pngs/graphics are no bigger than 500 x 600, and that is usually the base I use to start my graphics. Some graphics are just plain small. Take your own imagination, and put them together to accent your projects. It's fun ... and easy.
Best downloaded into a file folder by name of the kit and date. One big kit folder could be: EAPDG-Dec 2010. Since there is a kit each day, you would have tons of graphics in no time at all.
I do a lot of fantasy characters. And Whimsey's, which are whimsical creatures developed from "scribble" drawings. That is why I sometimes say it's "accidental art". It's what my imagination sees and developes into completetion.
I finished my out-of-town shopping yesterday. I hope to get them out tomorrow; Monday.
I am looking forward to my 2 week vacation! Lots of time to rest ... and create.
Hope you have a fantastic Sunday!
