Owl Scrapping Pngs: Free and Social Security's Direct Express Card

Good morning!

To find the pngs for this scrapping project:
http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/today-11-13-2012.html

It's Tuesday morning, and I am working from home today and tomorrow, but have a short time before I have to start.

I did a scrapping project yesterday, that I am featuring today at my website.  You will find a zip file with 12 pngs inside.  Open it in your graphics editing program to have the object only, no white backgrounds.  Use to design your own scrapping projects.  Fun!

By clicking through on the link above, you will see the picture I posted with me, my husband, and my granddaughter.

I designed all the elements in this zip file.  The little owl is a sculpey creation I did a couple of weeks back.  You'll also see the other owls I created, and two heart faces.  I love to use my sculpeys in my art, and also on cards.  I make ornaments, little stand alone creations, and jewelry.  So much fun.

On another note:  Food for Thought:  Did you know that Social Security is phasing out all paper checks by March 1, 2013?  What do you do?

All benefits must be paid electronically by March 1, 2013.  You can get your payments directly deposited into your checking account OR to a Social Security Direct Express card (if you don't have a checking account).  Your card is good for making purchases, paying bills or getting cash.

Apply for a card by calling Social Security at 800-333-1795 or get details at:
http://www.godirect.org

This information was taken from AARP/Ask the Experts:  Diet and Social Security Checks:  November 2012.

Have a terrific day!

Scrapping a past Florida Vacation

Good morning,

I am off today ...  celebrating Veteran's Day.  Thank you, all you Veterans out there.  That would include my son, John, and my husband, Ray.  Ray was actually in a ceremony at my granddaughters school on Friday.  I went to it, and it was a wonderful program!  Thank you, for being brave enough to fight for our freedom.

The picture today is of 2 of my 3 kids, longing to go out onto the beach, on a vacation many years ago.  We just arrived in our hotel room, and the beach is just outside the window.  Even though they are faced away, it begged to be scrapped.

I love the vent blowing just below my daughter's skirt, puffing it up Marilyn Monroe style.

We had so much fun on our vacations, which usually included beach time.  Ahhh!  Such memories.

On my website, you can find today's items here:
http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/today-11-12-2012.html

Jpgs and pngs are available.  The pngs are in a zipped file.

This is how I colored my frame.  I do have a quick frame that you can insert your own picture.

There are also the items uncolored, in black and white, for you to color either digitally or by printing out and coloring by hand.

Have fun!

Quick Frames for Scrapbooking

Good morning!

It's Black Friday, and I imagine everyone is out shopping ... except me! I hate to shop, and dread starting my Christmas shopping. I love to give gifts; I just hate all the running around and trying to find the right thing.

So Happy Shopping to all you shoppers!

As for me; I think I'll just stay home and ... create!

Today's creation is a type of quick template, without all my writing over it, that can be used by you ... insert a picture where the yellow flower is, and viola! A personalized picture. Add your own words.

I actually created this quick frame for blogger, but I do have another very pretty one posted over at Easy As Pie Daily Graphics for 11/25/11. Run over and check it out.

I've started EAPDG blog ... on my website, and today, I shared how I get my inspiration for shading and colors. You might find it an interesting read. And, if you do, why not leave a comment at the end of that particular article. It doesn't post online, but I can add your comments if you wish them to be added. Basically, it just sends me an email, letting me know a comment was made so I can read it.

While I use my graphics for lots of things, I love to use them in my scrapping and scrapbooking. I use them in my cards, in my sculpey, and any way I can think to use them.

Why NOT snag them for your own scrapping projects? Put them in your scrapbook. Cut them out, paste them onto cardboard or thicker papers and add them as decorations to your creations. It's lots of fun!

I really love creating. And one day, when I can finally retire, I hope to be creating FULL TIME.

If you have a frame I've posted that you'd like to have a picture of a loved one in, please write me, and send me the picture. After its created, you will get the jpg back, as well as a word document with the picture posted inside for you to print out on photo paper. It's very easy to do. Frame it; give it as a gift! They're marvelous!

After all, YOU deserve the BEST!

Thanksgiving was wonderful yesterday. We had a lovely meal, and a very restful day. So much to be thankful for. I heard from all 3 of my children; and that is always such a blessing.

One thing I'm thankful for are joyful surprises! On Tuesday, after working way late, then stopping by my daughters, and finally the grocery, I was so tired I could hardly wait to get home.

Bending down to read items on a shelf, a little elderly lady came around the corner. She kind of stopped, and looked at me. All of a sudden, she said, "My! What beautiful hair you have!" Immediately a smile crossed my face, and I gushed, "Thank you!" It was such a little thing, but such a joyful surprise. She'll never know how much she brightened my hard day! "Thank you, whoever you are. It was so thoughtful and kind!"

The next time I notice something extraordinary about someone ... I'm going to tell them. Joy can surprise you when you least expect it!

Blessings to you.

Free Halloween PNG kit downloads for the next 5 days

Good morning,

What a wonderful weekend we are having.

Halloween -- YES! And this picture features all the free png kit download items over the next 5 days -- starting tomorrow: Mon. 10/11/10.

All the kits are "ready to go" as of this morning, so I can start my next free png graphics downloads.

The background for starting this creation is 800 x 750, so it is quite large. That means the backgrounds and the house are large. Many graphics come alone, and then just their shadow, and a third offered of graphic with shadow. You choose which one to use at the time of your creation. (The sizes of the graphics within the background represent their size in the downloads.)

The scarecrow and the pumpkin are tubes (pictures of items I've owned and prepared as tubes). Being in png format, you can download items directly into your graphics program, and they will have no backgrounds. That makes them so much easier to use.

I watched my granddaughter play soccer yesterday. Unfortunately, they lost 3 to 1, but they sure tried. It's the first year for many of the girls, so they are doing very well.

This was the second week my granddaughter played goalie in the first half. She stops many attempts to score, but one did get past her. Last week, she scored a goal in the second half of the game, and they won 1 to 0. She was so excited!

I had my lunch with my birthday son on Friday at Max and Erma's. I only ate half my lunch, and asked for a box to take the rest home for dinner. Believe it or not! ... I walked out ... without my box! Darn. But we had a great time talking together.

After the game yesterday, we all went to Max and Erma's again ... my son-in-laws parents were in town, so we had a wonderful visit. My 4-month old granddaughter slept till the end of our lunch, and then woke up and visited with all of us. All my girls are such a delightful bunch. (I remembered to take my leftovers home this time, as well as grabbed a lunch for my hubby at home to go).

Hurry on over to my website to pick up the latest free png kit downloads and add them to your stash!

Lucky me ... I am off for the next couple of days ... so I'll have lots of time to work on more free png graphics. Scrap them in cards. Scrap them in booklets. Scrap them in your scrapbooking pictures. Or -- place individual items in your emails. So many things you can do with them.

Have a great Sunday!

Final Day for PNG graphics 10s917-kit -- New Kit starting tomorrow (10s923)

Good morning,

Png graphics over the last few days and new ones tomorrow are featured in this little Soccer Tonite picture.

The pink flower graphic and the note square are in tomorrows new png graphics kit (10s923-kit), while the other three flowers are featured in today's final pack (10s917-kit).

The final package today, picked up over several days, comes to a total of 57 pngs.

If you're looking for some new png graphics to scrap with, whether it's for scrapping family pictures or doing your own cards, come on over and pick these up. They are P/CU with credits to the creator (me).

Putting together your creative projects can be fast and easy using any png graphics. This took only a minute to put together! Wow! So fast ... so easy!!!

These particular pngs did not need resizing. This is the size they are, so you won't spend a lot of time reducing each one.

Hoping your day ... and evening are wonderful!

Enjoy!

Bright and Bold Scrapping Flower

Good morning,

For this Friday morning, I have a bright and bold scrapping flower for all you fellow scrappers.

Even if you're not a fellow scrapper, you could save the flower and add it to your emails or just dress up a daily note.

You don't have to be a scrapper to dress up normal, everyday notes. It's simple. After you save it, print it and cut it out. Always cut just outside the outline, leaving just a little white showing around it.

Dab a little glue on the document where you want your flower ... paste ... let dry.

You can add a little lift by putting it on a pop-up foam circle, too! Try it! It's fun.

Start small, and when people remark how cute it is, it may just be the incentive you need to try a little more. It could even develop into a full-time hobby!

Hope you enjoy this last day of this week. Don't work too hard. The weekend is just around the corner!

Scrapper's Daily Is Open -- Join Free!

Friday, 5/22/09 ... and Good afternoon!

I am on holiday today. And all next week! I love vacations.

Scrapper's Daily. What is it?

It's a free scrapping group. It is over at Eons. You open a free account, set up your profile, and then find things to interest you.

You can do your own blog. Create your own group. Join groups. Give virtual gifts that you earn by responding to posts, and receive them, of course. You make friends.

It's a wonderful place. Scrapper's Daily's home page is:

http://www.eons.com/groups/group/scrappers-daily

This group is still new. Only 2 members, but looking to grow.

It is an active group because I am the moderator, and I am active. There is something for every day.

If you are a scrapper, and you just live to scrap, check it out. We'd love to have you.

If you create, we're still happy to have you. It's not just about "me"; it's about all of us -- old and new.

Since I am active in it, and just live to create -- I am looking for members that would like to post at least 2x a week. That still leaves plenty of time to do other things; like enjoy the great out doors; especially with spring being here.

There are many items to choose from to use to scrap with, and it is not limited to just those items, but allows you to use other items, including those you've picked up, as long as they are free for you to use.

Today's postings are just a few of the items over the last couple of days.

So, get on over to Scrapper's Daily, and think about joining. Then do it!

These items can also be found at:
http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com

Come help us make some fun ... while you show us your stuff!

Free items in Scrapper's Daily

Monday, 5/11/09

Good Monday morning to you all,

These are the 3 items offered in Scrapper's Daily this morning.

With Mother's Day being over, perhaps you're looking to make a "thank you" card for the gifts received yesterday.

I thank:
- my daughter, her husband, and my granddaughter for a beautiful and wonderful meal at their home yesterday and all the following:
- the gifts, 2 items for scrapping (I love 'em), a gift card to Michaels, and a wind chime (I've always loved wind chimes)
- the flower arrangement -- in RED!
- the 105+ pictures my granddaughter took with my camera
- the cake my daughter made with her loving and busy hands
(she's taken cake-decorating, so she's creative too)
- the Chinese lantern my granddaughter crafted with her creative hands

-My son and Kathy:
- For the gift card, and the bread they brought to the meal

- My daughter's mother and father-in-law:
- The wonderful "cinnamon-home scented" candle and candle holder (shot glass: oops! private joke here)

- My son and daughter-in-law in MA:
- For the gift card and phone call

And for all the cards.

We had about 4 hours of fun together. It was so wonderful, and probably the best Mother's Day I've ever had. Thank you all! (I will be making and sending cards!)

My daughter's meal was one she grew up on, and that I received from a friend/neighbor in my first year of marriage. Nope; it was my second year. Poor Man's Stroganoff.

Simple easy for you:
1 # stew meat
1 large can of Cream of Mushroom/or Cream of Chicken soup (do not add any liquid as it creates it's own)
Put both in a crock pot in the morning or before going to bed, and let cook on low. If you are up, stir occasionally.

Serve over mashed potatoes, noodle, rice, or even bread.

Double to make larger batches. I use to double it, and use one of each soup.

Have a great day.

Friday, 4/24/09 ... AND Good Morning to You!

Oh wow! l love Fridays.

I especially love every other Friday, as I take it off, when things work out. And most of the time, they do!

Birthdays happen constantly. At work. At home. With family and friends. And occasionally, with people we may not know very well, but want to extend our wishes anyway.

Today, I've created this card for you. It is free to use as you please.

I posted this picture as my challenge "to scrap daily" at my group, Scrapper's Daily". If you're interested in seeing all the offerings, and the group, check it out at http://www.eons.com/groups/group/scrappers-daily.

It's a beautiful Friday ... and I plan to enjoy it!

Sleepy Time Scrapping Buddy

Good morning!

This little girl could be headed to bed ... or she could be just getting up! Since it's morning, I vote for "getting up!"

She's one of my Scrapping Buddies over at my website:

http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com.

Today, we also featured some items to color. They're black outlines, and you can print them off to carry with you to keep your kids busy when you go out. Sometimes, I just love doing these black and white outlines. Some are very detailed and bold, while others can be very dainty.

The features for today can be found on 11/8/08 at the website.

Today is my daughter's "Girl's Night Out" party. It's at 5:30 p.m., and it should be a great time together. Don't know what I'm going to wear yet.

This is my second day off of the 5 I'm taking right now. I go back to work on Wednesday. Next Friday will be a busy day. I was hoping to take that day off as my daughter's wedding rehearsal is that evening, and the rehearsal dinner, BUT ... we are also having our health fair that day (in the morning for me), and I believe we have an "away meeting", and party that afternoon. I need to round up a baby picture for the festivities. So, it will be a very busy day.

Hoping you have a terrific day!

See you soon.

Scrapping Buddies for Scrapbooking and Projects

Good morning,

Ah! The voting is over, and we have a new President. A historic moment for America. What will the next 4 years hold? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Today, this little Scrapping Buddy is available at my website. She is featured dressed in two other outfits and there is a bald blank for you to decorate as you please.

You can find her at:

http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/

On the next days, you will see a few more renditions of her.

Scrapping Buddies are little children for you to place on your scrapbooking projects.

They will add some color and interest.

Here are the 3 on a little deco box.

These were fun little things to make, so I hope you'll enjoy using them.

Today is my last day at the office until next Wednesday. Veteran's Day falls on next Tuesday, and so I thought I'd make it a long weekend. So much to do today.

This weekend, we girls just wanna have fun! The ladies close to my daughter will gather together this Saturday night, for a delightful dinner together. My daughter is getting married next weekend, so this is her last weekend for being single.

Of course, we are all grown women. So we will be having very "mild" fun!

The guys are also going out for "Guys Night Out" to celebrate Danny's last single weekend. My daughter is hoping they are also having "mild" fun! Hey. I'm not worried. I know the guys.

Have a terrific day, and run over to my website to pick up your scrapping buddies.

See you soon!
