Monday's Free Graphics -- For Girls

Good morning,

Ah yes! It has been a good morning; other than having to restart my computer.

I've accomplished a lot already this morning. I did my FUN FIT this morning, and then 3 full-version songs in JUST DANCE. I really love GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN and WOMANIZER. I did Womanizer two times. Got in over 30 minutes! Terrific!

My granddaughter came over yesterday with her mom. Her dad wasn't feeling too good, so he stayed home. I hope he's feeling better this morning.

She set up her Fun Fit profile and did the initial setting up, played with Just Dance for quite a while, and then actually played the Sims Kingdom for about 2 hours, while her mom and I watched and chatted. She challenged both me ... and her mom ... and papaw to different songs in Just Dance. We did it. And laughed and had a great time. This was a great buy. I hope to see Just Dance 2 ... and on and on! These are so much fun, and a great way to get me off my behind!

This creation for today is something little girls might like, and maybe even big girls.

I still have to get my Journal-Lane post up, and my graphics website is done ... and then I need to get into gear. I still have my lunch to make, and to get dressed ... so I'm done here.

Mon. 1/11/2010: Frame and Little Cartoon Lady-Free Graphics

Good morning!

My post this morning is a frame that is on my website today.

I made this little cartoon lady, and placed her in it.

I put no saying with it, as this is a blank for you to use, if you wish to snag it.

Yesterday, my granddaughter came to spend a few hours with me. We had a wonderful time.

She loves to play the Wii, so that's what we did with some of our time yesterday. We played one game of bowling, and I beat her by one point. Believe me ... this NEVER happens.

We then played a game a golf where she slaughtered me. And 2 games of tennis. She beat me on both of these!

Tennis is much more strenuous for my right arm which I injured back in June 2008. It was an injury from work, so it was a federal workman's comp claim, which almost no one knows how to process. Therefore, the tears in my right shoulder joint were never fixed.

While my arm is usable, I am very limited in what I can do. We bought the Wii for Christmas in 2008, after playing it at my granddaughter's house, because I thought it would help strengthen my arm. In the beginning, I thought it was helping, but eventually realized it wasn't because my pain increased.

Therefore, I had not really played it until last weekend. I over did it with the tennis yesterday, but we had so much fun. But, I can feel the nerve pain back in the lower portion (from the elbow down into my right hand) again. Ugh! Not bad ... but it's there anyway.

Since I played about 2 hours last weekend (but played no tennis), and then this weekend (and did play tennis), I think it was a bit much. I need to forgo the tennis ... even though I like it a lot.

Life. Isn't it fun!

Graphics Galore - two days free graphics today

Good morning,

Two days worth of graphics today in one post.

This little Cowboy Square goes to a frame featured on my website today. You can pick everything there up -- today only.

I do lots of little girl things, but don't often do little boys. I had 2 boys and a girl when I had children, but today, I have mostly granddaughters. Therefore, I do mostly little girl items.



This little item was my post for Thursday; yesterday. He is also on my website today as well as the border.

Again, this one is my fantasy side coming out. I love creating little people you don't see everywhere.

Altogether, there are 24 items to pick up today; not just 6. I promise 3 new graphics each day, as long as I am able, but I often put up more, so you really get a good deal here. Especially since they are all free. Free to use however you wish. Don't claim them as yours; I created them. But put them in any creation ... and the creation is yours.

We had lots of snow yesterday. A 30-minute trip took me just a little over an hour and a half. I hate those kind of trips. I was able to get up to 45 mph on the freeway, but only when no one was around me. Most people went about 40 mph, and traveled in packs. I like to stay away from the packs.

I don't know if we're going in yet today. I wish they'd just let us work from home, as I do have my laptop.
