Happy Birthday to those born July 17th! Free birthday card front.

Good morning,

I made this card front for a special birthday today.  It's for my daughter-in-law, a sweet and beautiful woman!

If you'd care to snag it to use for yourself, please feel free to do so.  It's in png format.

Of course, her version has her name in pink in the upper, left hand corner, and who it is from under the border in white, under the xo's.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!!

P.S.  Happy birthday, Kathy!

Happy Birthday to a Very Special Woman and A Very Special Surprise For Me

Happy Birthday to you --- Kathy!

I hope it will be a wonderful, terrific day for you to celebrate in.

This is the sculpey pendant and earring set I made for Kathy's birthday. I just love black and white, and it goes with almost anything. I hope you get many hours of fun out of wearing my gift.

And here is the quick little card I did for Kathy using Poor Baby 11-0716-12b. In the previous post, he was only in black and white outlines. I like to leave many of my graphics like that so you can print them and color them with colors you prefer.

Happy Birthday again, Kathy!

And to the rest of you ... have a great Sunday, also.

P.S. Yesterday, I had a blast from my past. Hi, Joann! I was cleaning out my spam box in my email and ran across an old friend's email sent to me back in January of this year. I was so tickled to read it ... and quickly responded. Being as it had been so long since she sent it, I wasn't sure how quick a reply I would get. I included my cell phone number ... and she called me. I had a wonderful chat with her for about 20-30 minutes. She is currently away, but when she returns, we will have a lunch together!

Thanks, Joann! It was so wonderful hearing from you!

More free scrapbooking graphics

Good morning, again.

I find weekends to be the best time for me to post, as I have more free time then. But, I'm trying to get you caught up on everything that's over at my website since I last posted.

This first item is a Bow Frame or Journal Box. It would fit well on a girl baby birth announcement card! It's posted on 7/15/11.

This second art graphic is called Flower Frame, posted on 7/16/11. I love the design of it. What do you think?

And again last ... there always has to be a last -- but not least, is one of my characters from a series I call "Poor Baby". This one is 11-0716-12b. I used him on a birthday card for my daughter-in-law, Kathy, whose birthday is TODAY! Happy birthday, Kathy! (I'll feature the card in the next post, along with a picture of her birthday gift that I made just for her. She's such a striking gal!)

I will feature several other Poor Babies over the next few days.

Hope you'll have a wonderful day today!

Easy As Pie Daily Graphics -- See the steps to finished creations

Good afternoon --

I am on vacation this week! And time off always leads to looking at new ways to promote my site, Easy As Pie Daily Graphics.

Bye, bye ... to the 3 free graphics of the day. Instead, a new approach.

Exercise your own creative bone by seeing some of the ways I come up with my original graphics.

The site has a fairly new look, although some old pages have been left up.

On this Monday, what I have is a "kind of tutorial", showing my step by step creation process.

As you can see from the picture above, a few steps can take you a long way.

This is kalei woman 10. She is a creation I would use.
But this is kalei woman 9, and she is my favorite -- out of the two.

She is noseless for now, but that would be a simple step ... when I have a use for her.

Hope you'll run over and take a look around at the new site. Let me know what you think.

On Thursday, I will be celebrating my 61st birthday; hence the vacation week. I started the tradition last year, and it was so wonderful, that I decided to do it again this year.

I came home sick after 2 1/2 hours work on Thursday. I had a fall a couple of weeks ago, and now my left knee has been "kickin' up a little pain". It was a slow day on Thursday, so I took some sick time. Unfortunately, I was having some back pain from changing my gait, which accelerated on Friday. I spent the day in bed.

I've also found that laying on our new couch is not good for my body. It is not completely flat, and when I lie down, it throws my knees out of alignment. I woke up after a nap yesterday, only to have stiff, painful knees again. It was truly an "ah-ha" moment.

We had a lovely, 2 hour visit, on Father's Day -- yesterday, at my daughters. All fathers were present, or at least the important ones ... and my son and Kathy were there also. It was a wonderful visit as we watched Emma walk around the room and be cute and funny. My oldest granddaughter made a tent in the loft, and we took turns going up to investigate it and sit in it with her. Good job, Taylor.

Hope you all have a great day.

Note: There will not be tutorials showing my creation process everyday. Some days, it will be just a graphic to share. It depends a lot on time, energy, and no problems publishing.

If you like the new idea of sharing the creation process, be sure to drop me a line!

Bye-Bye April -- the last day to grab the free April Graphics

Good morning,

And so ends April, 2011. Today is the last day, and all graphics are UP ... so grab 'em now!

The creation above is made of 2 graphics offered today. There are 3 graphics, and actually a few more than 3. There are several gradients, the face border, and a flower frame.

We've had rain most of this month. It was pretty yesterday, so I was able to get out a walk with a co-worker during lunch and a break. It is her birthday today -- so Happy Birthday, Tiff! (Sorry, but this is your LAST year to celebrate your thirties!!! :) ) No need to worry. From personal experience, I can tell your the forties are wonderful still.

Hope everyone enjoyed April! And I hope you've picked up the graphics you want this month.

Tomorrow starts a brand new month!

Toodles ...

12/10/09 Happy Birthday! To my husband, Ray!

Good morning,

It's a great day for my hubby ... as it's his birthday! Unfortunately, he does not have the day off. (Sorry, sweetie.)

It's hard to believe that you're 58 today!

This is the card I made for him. I started out with something different (see those on my website), but decided to go a different route.

My husband's job keeps him on the road, so I'm hoping today won't bring rain or snow. I haven't checked the weather yet ... but I know that it's supposed to keep getting colder (duh! ... it is winter!)

I especially liked this flower deco, and in honor of Ray's birthday, thought I'd post a few extras here today.

If you like them, go on and grab them.

That's why I make them.

Scrapbooking can be so expensive nowadays, and I love making my own creations. But, I'd love for you to use them for any projects you might be working on.

I'd love to see what you do with them, but if not; that's okay, too! Just enjoy.

I made a matching envelope, and of course, there is an inside to the card; not posted.

And the last little flower deco.

So. What did I get my husband?

I gave him what he requested ... money. Money is one of those things we never dislike, hide away, or turn down. We don't usually recycle it as a gift to someone else. We use it! For whatever we want at the moment.

Today, in my reading, I found out you can get a special, "time-limited", temporary phone number from iNumbr.com. You choose the time limit, and link it to the phone you want messages delivered to. Wow! And ... the phone number you link it to is safe, as they won't sell it to telemarketers! Hmmmm. New things always coming out that make our lives easier.

I do hope you have a terrific day! Stay warm! And safe.

Birthday News

Friday, 4/24/09 ... AND Good Morning to You!

Oh wow! l love Fridays.

I especially love every other Friday, as I take it off, when things work out. And most of the time, they do!

Birthdays happen constantly. At work. At home. With family and friends. And occasionally, with people we may not know very well, but want to extend our wishes anyway.

Today, I've created this card for you. It is free to use as you please.

I posted this picture as my challenge "to scrap daily" at my group, Scrapper's Daily". If you're interested in seeing all the offerings, and the group, check it out at http://www.eons.com/groups/group/scrappers-daily.

It's a beautiful Friday ... and I plan to enjoy it!

Have a great day!

Scrap Book a Recipe Card

Good morning to you all!

This recipe card was made today, since I attended my daughter's couples party. She had that instead of a shower before her wedding. We had a lovely time.

Her matron-of-honor, Chessa, brought a dip that was so yummy. And that's when I decided to use my accessory decorations for scrap booking to put together this card.

It is delicious, and while she served it as a dip, I thought it would be delicious poured over a fresh cut-up fruit dish or you could substitute canned fruit ... since fresh fruit may not be as available during the fall and winter. Except maybe apples and oranges.

Oh. There is still plenty of fruit in the stores, but somehow, it just doesn't taste as good as it did in the summer. And the prices are sure to go up since it will be trucked in from a distance.

There is always canned fruit ... so try this recipe, and see if it's something you'd like to take to your Thanksgiving gathering. Or use it as a dip, which is the way it originally was presented.

My accessories are free for you to use. Just go to http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com and pick up whatever fancies you. Then scrap, scrap, scrap away!

Tomorrow is my oldest son's birthday. So happy birthday, Christian.

And in honor of Halloween month, there is a Halloween layout coming for October 8th. You can pick up the whole card ... and add to it. Or you can pick up just the stationary layout. You can also pick up the word Halloween ... 2008 ... a bat ... and a ghost! Go check it out.

As always. Have a marvelous day. Even if it's only Tuesday!

See you later!
