July Fourth Graphics For Your Hobbies

Good morning!

July Fourth is coming very soon; it's just around the corner.

Since it's been awhile for posting, I thought I'd put together this July Fourth Graphic above called LET FREEDOM RING.

It's in png format, and it's free to use for cards and digital scrapbooking.  You can also print it out and use it for a physical card or scrap.  Enjoy.

Here's another one with a little creature holding his cup of juice, milk, coffee, whatever it is that he is drinking and he's toasting America.

Again, another png, for all your creative needs.

Having been a while since my last post, I went to log-in, and it had me create a new Google+ under Carolyn Hampton.  I already have a Google+ under Cj, so this was not what I really wanted to do, so I just left the other one kind of empty.

Maybe I'll use it later for something else.

Then, I came to blogspot to do today's post, and my electricity flickered, and I lost my computer connection.  If it's not one, it's another.  (This happens way too often, by the way.)

I've been doing some graphics lately, and digital scrapping, but have really been doing a ton of sculpey.  I love Pinterest for ideas, and I've recently done over 130 pieces.

Some have been given away as gifts, but others are still sitting on my desk.

I'll feature some of those over the next couple of days.

Until later, have a great day, and I hope you enjoy the free graphics for today.

Snag this Mother's Day Card front for FREE

Good afternoon,

I'm on a roll!  My third post for today is a Mother's Day Card, completely snagable.

I made this a couple of days ago, and meant to post it sooner.  But there's still time to grab this picture and use if for the front of your Mother's Day, if you're into making your own.  The colors are incredible!

I plan to print a couple of these out smaller and make my cards.  The frame is a pink, so I will layer it onto a darker base and have several bases for the front.

If you print them, and make your cards today, you can get them in the mail tomorrow with plenty of time to arrive by next Sunday!

Have a great week, and I hope to post something new tomorrow, before heading off to work.

I'm presently making a huge kit to use, and some of the items will be offered here for free, in png format.

Till then, enjoy the rest of your weekend.  I'm off to do the same!

Decorate a card today!

Good morning,

This morning, I made a card front for a friend.
That's an old picture of me.
I believe I was about thirty-something.
Probably late 30's.

I like the card front on black.

Here is a png of the front card.
You chose the picture to put in it.
Here are some additional flowers I made
to go along with decorating the
rest of your card.

Unfortunately, I am still having trouble
getting my blogger to post my words
against the left edge.

The background paper is a seamless
background I made for this card.

And here is another border flower, and
three additional flowers to decorate
with.

Enjoy.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Cj

P.S.  It is another beautiful Sunday in
my city.  Yesterday was the same.

We are expecting frigid temps very soon.
I believe it's coming in either tomorrow
or Tuesday.

I am off tomorrow.
I work at home on Tuesday and Wednesday,
so I won't be dreading it til Thursday.
I'll be bundling up!

Lots of Pngs to Create with: Free.

Good Sunday morning!

My first creation this morning
with a quote I liked.
The pngs are all below.

And this is my second creation.  Christmas Joy!  This time I turned my base, and used the objects again, but set them up a little different with some additional items I created.  I really liked the colors in these.  Of course, I always like flowers, too!

Here is the first pngs all together.  These are free for you to download and use in any creations or projects you are working on.  They are great for scrapbooking with as well.  Use them on your card creations or Christmas tags.  (I'll be doing another post showing you two Christmas tags I created, and you may snag.)

Here is just the main flower, and I just love how it turned out.

And this was a fun little flower, and it shines.

Here are 3 together.

Little blue.

Another little blue with a nice center.

Back in a minute with two tags.

Paper and Sculpey Christmas Ornament and a Get Well Card

Good Saturday morning,

Trials and tributions today.  With my computer ... it's driving me crazy.  I'll pull up a picture to edit it as they are usually too dark.  And boom!  Down my computer goes without any warning.  That is puzzling to me, as I just bought a brand new computer this year.

Thank heavens my husband is a techie, and he comes up (from his cave, downstairs), and looks it over.  I'm hoping it's fixed now.

It started a few weeks ago, but today, it will let me work about an hour, and then down it goes.

My husband thinks he's got the problem fixed.

It looks like blogger posted my items out of order.  It figures.  (I hope my whole day is NOT going to be like this.)

The first creation today is a card I made yesterday.  It's going to be a get well card for a friend that just underwent surgery.  It in all black and white.  The backing behind the quilled flower looks gray in this picture, but that's because it has shine to it.  It's actually much more black.

I like all black and white cards, as well as many of my sculpeys.  This picture shows two of my heart sculpeys.  I love to do hearts.

I made all the paper for this creation and all the designs I've used on it so far.  It is an unfinished project right now, but will be done very soon.

In an earlier post, when I first started out this morning, I mentioned I'd made an ornament.  Here is a picture showing it.

It started with two flower designs under the heart that is showing.  I cut out two and glued them together, leaving room to sneak a little stuffing inside.  This caused it to bulk up and then I finished gluing it together.

I then punched a hole in the bottom and strung some yarn through it and tied it.  I glue along the edges and pressed the yarn along till I got to the top.  I let it dry and tied it .  I made a bow and loop for hanging on the tree.  And then, I tied it off.

I put a pearl string/glued again/around the sculpey heart.  At the top, I wounds some yarn in a circular fashion to decorate the heart.  The heart has a quilled circle under it, which is glued to a red paper base.  Another quilled circle attaches it to the ornament.  This gives it lot of dimension.

And that is the front.

Here is a close up of the sculpey heart on the front.

This is the back of the card.  I did not make the sticker, but layered it onto a white card stock base, used a quilling circle to give it dimension underneath, and glued that to another red paper card.  Another quilling circle is underneath that.  When you look it it from the sides, you can see how it spreads out.

This was supposed to be the FIRST picture of my get well card.  Alas, it is the last.  Oh well.

It is not finished yet, but thought I'd post it, as it was one of my creations yesterday.  I'm waiting for my muse to help me finish it.

Have a great day!

2012 Christmas Card for work, and free pngs for you!

Good Friday morning,

Yesterday, I gave out my Christmas cards at work.  The png graphic above is all of the elements together.  This is the front of the card, and was put on a piece of larger card stock that I inked around.

This is just the png graphic girl.  Her hat is a little reindeer hat that I created.  Yes, she is unusual, but I like unusual.

This is the little png graphic mouse that I added to the front of the card.  He was made several years ago.

This is "funky" reindeer, and he was made last year, I think.  He's holding a little flower in his hand.

This is how the inside of my card looked, when all put together.  This was also put on larger card stock, and inked around.

And finally, the tree.  If I'd had time, I was going to write diagonally, like garland, on the tree.  Maybe Christmas words, like joy, peace, and love.  Or Jesus, savior, love, for a more religious-style meaning.

After all, the reason for the season, is Jesus.

Unfortunately, when I got ready to print out my graphics to assemble, my printer was down.  I've been having a lot of trouble with it going off-line.  It would print one graphic, and then it would go off-line.  This time, it just didn't want to go back online.

Since I've been having trouble with it for awhile, I had purchased an HP Officejet 4622 about a month ago.  It's been sitting in my granddaughters room, waiting for me to use up all the ink from my old printer.  Alas, I was not able to use it all up, but it was almost empty.

So my dear husband, installed my new printer.  I like it because I can buy my ink cartridges separately, and I checked before buying this printer, to see how much those ink cartridges were going to cost me each time.  They are cheaper, and it will be easier to fit in my budget, as I will only need to buy whichever color is low.  I like that. I usually try to keep one set on hand, in case I run low when doing a project.

Our Christmas party is today.  I am going in a little later this morning, and I have my white elephant gifts ready to go.  I crocheted a slip-in type rectangle cover and slipped a little journal inside.  I'll post pictures of that in another post.  I tied little handmade, crocheted flowers to the top, in case the receipant wanted to remove them.

I have a box of candy to go with it, and I'll try to come up with some original decoration for it.

I hope you all are enjoying your parties!

Have a terrific day!

Example of Using Free Graphics To Make Your Own Card

Good morning,

I recently had a birthday card to make for a co-worker, and as I always do, I used my own free graphics. People appreciate them because I took the time to create them myself.

This first picture is the card front. You might notice Trimesa, the character, who is being offered with many expressions over at Easy As Pie Daily Graphics.

This picture above, shows a side view and and the inside view.

The sideview shows that Trimesa is put on a baked clay disk to add dimension to the front of the card. This can be done when you are hand-delivering your card. It would cost you extra to mail it.

Inside are more free graphics.

This next above picture is another card to just hold the necklace I created for the birthday girl. Again, I used Trimesa on it, and a tangled-type frame decoration.

The necklace is on a FIMO white effects base. Although it looks a little yellow here, it is white. It has specks of glitter already in the clay, and I might have added glitter glue as a top coat as well.

The little flower is stuck on the top of the tangled card.

The necklace is on a silkie.

This last picture shows Trimesa off to the side. As you can see, I leave a little white around her when I cut her out. This keeps her definition so I don't thin or cut any of those lines away.

This shows the necklace upclose a little bit.

Graphics print nicely on card stock or glossy photo paper.

If you'd like to create your own free cards, just adding the small cost of your own supplies, then head on over to Easy As Pie Daily Graphics, and check out ALL of the free graphics currently up. I will leave them up for as long as possible, but eventually, some of the older ones will come down, to make way for the newer ones.

If you have them already on your own computer, they're ready for use when you need them. Once I take them down ... they're gone. So pick them up, and get creating!

Hope you enjoyed this example of using EAPDG's free graphics to make your own cards.

Have a really fantastic, Sunday ... because Monday is just around the corner!

Enjoy!

Time Stands Still ... in lots of areas for me right now

Good morning,

I am off this week, and I am playing with a different creation angle. This design above is for a future birthday card front. It takes a little more time, play, and thought, but I like it.

This is a closeup of the next card front. I don't have a specific use for it yet, but I love how it feels. While I DO love color, I've always been very drawn to black and white and shades in between, and this one just fits the bill for me. I just love it!

And last ... the completed design for this card front. Don't know how I'm using it yet ... but I will use it! How would you show it off?

My drivers for my sound card are gone on my computer! Darn. I had tried to post a video (for family) on my website yesterday, only to find I had no sound. I thought it was my program, but alas, while doing some research today on my drawing endeavors, I tried to view a video; only to find that again! There was no sound. A quick peek from my husband revealed the problem. And, I lost a monitor two days ago, and my husband replaced it with another one he had stored.

I use dual screens at home and at work. It is so much easier to research while working.

Most of this week's weather has been totally blah! Cloudy, rain off and on, and just plain ugh!!! Makes me NOT want to go out.

I'd love some feedback on my new designs! What do you think?

Have a terrific day!!!

Free Stationary-Mushroom Magic-- Png Kit Downloads Daily

Good Monday morning!

Stationary or a card front ... whatever your heart desires it to be. Free png graphics download with psp item available and individual items also in just png format.

I love making stationary and cards. They are so expensive in the stores, so being able to create your own are a real plus. I hope YOU take it ... and use it!

Speaking of stationary ... I was reading Woman's Day today, and ran across an interesting website called www.kickstarter.com. It is for funding projects. An interesting post on their website led me to www.mysteriousletters.blogspot.com, and that was also interesting. The two featured artists are sending out a letter to everyone on the planet. I thought that was a fantastic, and huge under-taking! Have your received yours yet? I have NOT.

Maybe mysterious letters could use some stationary?

It is my FIRST OFFICIAL VACATION DAY, today. A whole 2 weeks! I'm giddy with excitement.

My husband bought me a new carpet steamer on Saturday, so I spent Saturday and Sunday doing our carpets. They look so wonderful with our new living room set.

I have lots of plans for today! So on with today!

Enjoy yours! And use the free gift of my stationary today!

Hoping your day ... and evening are wonderful!

Good morning!

The election is over, and this little card may be something for you, if you're feeling a little down about the outcome.

Otherwise, you might snag Scrapping Buddy 2-Sad, either on this card, or all alone on my webpage at:
http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/. You'll find him on the page for 11/05/08.

Scrapping buddy 1, the blue-eyed girl from yesterday is on 11/04/08.

I am off today. I don't go back till Wed 11/12, so I'll have 5 glorious days. I'll do some art work, some cleaning, and hopefully, a little shopping, too.

Tomorrow is our girls' night out, and the boys will be about 2 blocks away, having theirs.

The wedding is next Saturday, and then many of us are gathering for brunch with the newly weds before they head off for Amish country for a few days of just being and enjoying each others company.

Hope everyone is having a really terrific day.

Take care ... and ... I'll ...

Free Post-It Note

Good morning,

No secret here that I like to design stationary. All kinds. And today, I'm posting a "post-it" note.

These also would make great little cards to carry to write "thank you" messages on -- say, when leaving a tip at a restaurant. And with my website on it, it's free advertising, too!

If a co-worker or friend needs you to write something down for them; again -- free advertising.

And if you looking for some free graphics -- to maybe design one of your own, don't forget to check out my website at www.EasyAsPieDailyGraphics.com. There are some really pretty designs over there.

I took a vacation day yesterday, so I had a full day of creating new items. I find it very relaxing and invigorating, so it was a wonderful day off.

But, it's Tuesday morning, and with this beautiful weather we're having now, it's not too hard heading back to the office this morning.

Have a beautiful day!

See you soon!
