Scrapping Element: Deco Writing Box

Good Saturday morning,

This scrapping element was actually for Friday, and the one I posted for Friday was switched. Oh well. They are both posted now.

I used this one with Bobo, a creature that was created and put on my website a few days ago.

My friend was recently laid off, so I just wrote a small message on it with Bobo placed at the bottom.

These come in cute when placed in emails.

Hope you enjoy it.

Have a great Saturday. It's raining where I am.

Scrapping Element for Friday: Photo Frame Box

Good morning,

I am posting this a day late, but ... I will have another one for Saturday, so check back later.

This scrapping element for Friday is a photo frame box element.

I created it, and added some additional things to it to fit the use I wanted it for.

I posted the finished version in my photo section of my Scrappers Daily group at eons ... with photo inside.

The box ... finished ... without my own picture is also posted in the group section of Scrappers Daily.

You can find that here:

If you like it ... feel free to use it.

At my website ... you will find additional items to pick up that match this frame box. Don't forget to check them out. They are there today ... with yesterdays, which I didn't get to post yesterday. Free graphics are only posted for the 24-hour period of the day ... so you always get a chance to grab them.

If you know someone using and always looking for more graphics ... send them over to grab them ... everyday.

They are great for scrapbooking projects.

Enjoy!

Scrapping Element for Thursday: A Decorative Box

Good Thursday Morning!

This little scrapping element, a decorative box, was created this morning ... for today's posting.

It's a simple box. I could put a photo in it, another graphic, a title, a simple quote or partial quote, or even add something totally different.

Different would be gluing or sewing a button in it somewhere, and cutting a name out using a cricut to embellish it.

There's so many things you can do with these little boxes. Just choose one that matches the colors of your project, embellish ... and you're set.

Have a great Thursday!

See you back here soon.

Scrapping Element: For You

Good Wednesday morning to you,

For you ... a little card tag ... to place on a gift.

Another little scrapping element to use in a project, as as a gift card tag for any occasion.

I like the colors in this card.

Always designing something new, and maybe one will be just the right one ... for you.

Have a great Wednesday. We are mid week now!

Monday, Tuesday Scrapping Elements: Owls

Good morning!

There's no doubt about it! I like owls as scrapping elements. And for Tuesday, I have this unusual little owl as my first scrapping element.

Owls can be used so many ways.

They depict wisdom, and can be used in a scrapping project or card for an older person.

But they can also be used for children -- because children like all kinds of animals.

This second scrapping element is called neon owl.

Whatever scrapbooking project you have in mind, these two little owls will look adorable.

Together or separately, they can add a little color to your creation.

Have a great Tuesday!

See you soon.

Happy scrapping!

Free Card Front Scrapping Element

Good morning,

This Sunday morning, 9/20/09, we have a FREE card front scrapping element.

Got any birthday's coming up?

Grab it ... use it. Put your own message in the box.

Ahhhh! The download for the last week, delivered today, 9/20/09 is done! It had 163 free scrapping elements for anyone signing my guestbook at easy as pie daily graphics, or for sending me an email with their email address (which you may access at my homepage).

There has been one person with me, from the start of the weekly download, and she has now picked up a total of 636 free scrapping elements.

Each week, the weekly download link goes out to those wishing it. The download page will only contain that week's free graphics. They usually number between 100 to 200 graphics. You can use ORIGINAL CREATIONS, just by taking action.

And, I had a birthday wish that went out today, so I used this card. I love it!

Hope you enjoy this Sunday, because the new work week is just about to begin.

Take care ... and enjoy!

FREE Scrapping Elements

Good Saturday morning to you all,

What do I get if I sign the guest book or send an email?

As I create the 3 free graphics for this site, as well as a few other graphics for other sites I'm involved with, I have many extras that I create.

I save them all, and they are just too numerous to use them all. So I put them on an excel sheet and save a week's worth. They number over a 100 each week ... and just under a 200 other weeks.

Many of the graphics are NOT used anywhere else ... so when you use them ... it's like having an original that you're not likely to see anywhere else.

Why do I do this? I've created them, and I hope that there are some people that will have a use for them.

And, with the economy being what it is, I am offering them freely for your use. You just pay the cost of the ink and paper you use. The creativity you add ... is yours!

You get free graphics ... because, I love to create!

Where do I get these?

That was easy!

Bright and Bold Scrapping Flower

Good morning,

For this Friday morning, I have a bright and bold scrapping flower for all you fellow scrappers.

Even if you're not a fellow scrapper, you could save the flower and add it to your emails or just dress up a daily note.

You don't have to be a scrapper to dress up normal, everyday notes. It's simple. After you save it, print it and cut it out. Always cut just outside the outline, leaving just a little white showing around it.

Dab a little glue on the document where you want your flower ... paste ... let dry.

You can add a little lift by putting it on a pop-up foam circle, too! Try it! It's fun.

Start small, and when people remark how cute it is, it may just be the incentive you need to try a little more. It could even develop into a full-time hobby!

Hope you enjoy this last day of this week. Don't work too hard. The weekend is just around the corner!

Wednesday-Thursday Scrapping Frames

Good morning!

This pretty lacey looking black and white frame might just be the perfect addition to a scrapping project you're working on.

Great for a little picture, a title box or to post a few journaling words ... it is sure to make it stand out.

You could add color to it, or just leave as it is.

Sometimes adding something strikingly different and simple to a layout is just what a particular project needs to make it stand out just a little more.

You decide how and where to use it.

I hope you enjoy it.

The frame box above was for Wed. 9/16.

And here's another one for today, Thurs. 9/17.

It can be used pretty much the same way.

I think it would look nice with a button sewn in the middle of it.

Or, Halloween is coming up. Why not get a small cellophane bag and put some candy corn in it and attach it all to a card to send to a little person you want to thrill.

However you use it, I hope it serves your purpose.

Have a great day ... and check back again ... for more.

Remember to check out other 3 free graphics each day at:
http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com.

Hang in there ... it's just today ... and then Friday ... and then ... it's your time to do what pleases you most!

Monday and Tuesday Graphics

Good morning,

Two graphics this morning to use for scrapbooking.

The outline decoration is great to color in with colored pencils. Let the kids color it.

It was originally created to be posted for Tues., 9/15.

Use it all together, or cut each piece apart and arrange in a new manner.

Each scrapper can take one object, and their projects will often come out looking very different from others using the same graphic.

Let your imagination go.

This other graphic was originally for Monday.

Monday's are "back to work" or "back to school" days, and are often days when people feel tired.

I made this little "i" to fit into any word that has an i in it ... to make it more interesting.

It all for fun anyway.

I hope you are having a good week.

It's almost over ... so hang in there.

If you're interested in picking up additional graphics, remember to visit my website at:

http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com to get 3 more each day.

Take care.

Elements for Scrapping

Sun. 9/13/09

Just a small post today.

A decorative element to use in scrapbooking!

There are 3 more to go with this one over at www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com.

There are 3 graphics posted there each day. I take them down the next day ... to add 3 totally new ones.

Anyone wishing more can sign my guestbook or email me at the website ... and I will provide you with a link ... just for taking the time to show interest.

Originally, I had planned to email the graphics out. I make many as I create each day, and I save them, but just can't post them all. But due to the size of the files, they are too big to mail out, so now I put the week's worth in an excel download for you download yourself. You just print out the sheets of the ones you like, and use them in your projects.

This past week, the download had 164 graphics. The downlink is up for the week till the new one is posted. Join in any time.

Have a great Sunday!

Good morning!

These pics are coming out muddy, but they are not. It is very puzzling.

This is flower bug ... as he started out. Just a fun little creation.

There is a second one ... done in black. I guess I'd call it "flower bug at night".

Here I am!

Having fits with my computer.

Okay!

Will keep this short!

Have a great day!

I Hate Bugs and A Deco Frame Scrap Accessories

Wednesday, 9/09/09

I overheard someone at work yesterday talking about her child just starting day care. She was now “afraid” of bugs, and so … she hates bugs!

Before starting day care, the child really loved bugs!

I just thought it was funny, as I’ve seen my own granddaughter go from something she liked, even loved, into a new wrinkle of “I hate those now.”

Every new parent experiences this, I’m sure. If you have, post a comment about it. When did it happen? How did it happen? What was it? Why do you think it happened? Where were you when you found out?

Once kids set off for day care or any “outside the home” activity, they all begin to pick up new things and ideas. Some are sad. Some are funny. And some … just don’t make any sense. Like hating bugs, all of a sudden.

I guess we all go through this stage in one way or another. But, as we get older, and wiser, it is easier to come back to what we like and dislike, based on our own experiences and judgment.

Thurs. 9/10/09

Hi,

A deco frame for today. Great for scrapbooking!

I had to post 2 days in one today, as I just couldn't get my site to go up yesterday.

That's the way it goes some days.

Have a great day.

A Beautiful Scrappin' Goodie

Saturday, 9/5/09

Good afternoon!

I love making little scrappin' goodies, and this is one I did for today.

The weather is absolutely beautiful this year. We've had a cooler than normal summer, and I'm loving it! Of course, I have a friend who longs for Florida, so she's NOT too thrilled with our weather.

If you're into scrapping, and your looking for some free accessories/graphics to scrap with ... you can find 3 free daily at http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/.

I've updated the old page now, so make sure you use the link above. If you sign my guestbook or email me, you can get a week's worth of free graphics ... for your very own use. The graphic download only comes out on Sunday's and for the week that's featured.

I also do some scrapping at Eons - Scrapper's Daily. Looking for members, so if you're interested, check it out. It can be found at http://www.eons.com/groups/group/scrappers-daily.

Although I do digital scrapping, I also use my graphics in real "home-made" projects. I print some out, cut them out, and apply. It's lots of fun.

Another thing I love to add to my projects are sculpey (polymer clay) creations. That adds lots of color, dimension, and even texture.

This little fish is bigger than a standard necklace, but does have a hoop to wear it as such, but I prefer to put her on my key chain.

She's all dressed up, with her flower on head, so she should be "out and about".

Check back tomorrow ... to see more!

Have a great day ... and I hope you're enjoying the weather as much as I am!

Take care.
