Clay Creations: Hearts and Flower Faces plus two free pngs

Good morning,

Here are a few more clay creations from over the last two months.  I've really like doing these little face flowers, big and alone, and small ones for card making.  The bigger ones make nice magnets.

The one on the heart can be made into a pendant, a magnet, or used in card making.

I love making these hearts and flowers, so I do a lot of those.

This is the big flower face.  I think I'm going to put a magnet on the back of this one for my refrigerator.

And here are two free pngs to use in your scrapbooking projects.  Both were made by me.

And here is the last free png for today.

Hope you have a great Monday!

See you tomorrow.

July Fourth Graphics For Your Hobbies

Good morning!

July Fourth is coming very soon; it's just around the corner.

Since it's been awhile for posting, I thought I'd put together this July Fourth Graphic above called LET FREEDOM RING.

It's in png format, and it's free to use for cards and digital scrapbooking.  You can also print it out and use it for a physical card or scrap.  Enjoy.

Here's another one with a little creature holding his cup of juice, milk, coffee, whatever it is that he is drinking and he's toasting America.

Again, another png, for all your creative needs.

Having been a while since my last post, I went to log-in, and it had me create a new Google+ under Carolyn Hampton.  I already have a Google+ under Cj, so this was not what I really wanted to do, so I just left the other one kind of empty.

Maybe I'll use it later for something else.

Then, I came to blogspot to do today's post, and my electricity flickered, and I lost my computer connection.  If it's not one, it's another.  (This happens way too often, by the way.)

I've been doing some graphics lately, and digital scrapping, but have really been doing a ton of sculpey.  I love Pinterest for ideas, and I've recently done over 130 pieces.

Some have been given away as gifts, but others are still sitting on my desk.

I'll feature some of those over the next couple of days.

Until later, have a great day, and I hope you enjoy the free graphics for today.

Sunday Color Me Flowers Fun!

Good morning!

It's Sunday morning, and its been awhile since my last post.  I'm still been creating though.

The picture this morning is one I call give me flowers or color me flowers.  The picture above is a jpg, and it is a flower design I created yesterday.

The big flower was reduced 50% and then 50% more to get the small flowers.  On the two small flowers, I added to layer effects to get the changes.  I love playing with layers.

The above picture shows the flower big!  This is a png, and free for you to snag.  Isn't it pretty?  Can you find a spot for it your scrapbooking projects?

Another png, this time, making a border out of the big flower which has been reduced.  This shows the versatility of using these pngs.  You can take them and make additional items with them.

My husband and I just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary, so next I'll post the wall card I made for him.  It is now hanging on our wall in the kitchen/dining room.  We celebrated a quiet day.  For dinner, we ordered in some Chinese food, which was delicious.  We spent the evening watching Netflix movies.  All in all; a very good day.

I also sent out 2 packages yesterday.  One to my mother-in-law, and one to a friend I correspond with and make little gifts for.  She's a widow, and a very kind lady.

I will be taking down my website at Easy As Pie Daily Graphics dot com.

My husband lost his job at the end of March after 12 years with his company.  His company fought his unemployment request.

He found a job with a temporary service, so he worked for four days, and then trained on a Sunday for another week-long job, which he just finished.  He's starting a permanent placement by the temp service tomorrow morning.  Unfortunately, they did not tell him where to go, and he tried to reach them on Saturday.

He will get ready tomorrow for work, and call them until he finds out where he's going.  He has a general idea, but they didn't give him the details.  He may be a little late, but it is due to the temp agency.

Our income has dropped, so things are a little tight right now; hence letting my website go.

I'll just keep blogging along, which thanks to blogspot, is free.

Take care, and I'll be back with several posts to show you some of the items I've been creating.

February Calendar, Valentine's Day mice, and FREE small flower pngs

Good afternoon!

Today, I have a basic February calendar for you.  Of course, February is almost over, but I'll try to get the March calendar up earlier.

February has been a very strange month this year.  A lot of days have been in the 40's, and lots of sunshine.  We have had snow, usually on the weekends. But there has been a day or two where it snowed on a week day.

On Friday, the 15th, it started in the morning.  I left early from work by about 1 hour and 45 minutes.  I was planning on going to my daughters, but after she and her daughter had flu last week; her husband was now down with it!  My husband had a vacation day, so I headed home.

It really snowed pretty good, and we had more on Saturday, and throughout the night, because there was morning snow in our street this morning!  Funny ... it's supposed to be back up into the 40's tomorrow!  Amazing; but I love it!

Tomorrow is Washington's birthday; also called President's Day.  I am off, and that is very nice.

The last time I posted, I wanted to show you a picture of my Valentine's Day presents to co-workers.  Unfortunately, my phone was NOT sending my pictures to my email box.  My husband got it configured for me, so now ... I'm up and running again.

I put 8 of these little mice in a black bowl.  They don't have their bows on them yet.  I made a total of 16 mice.  Three of them have magnets on the back of them to put on the fridge.

I wanted to make one that my granddaughter could play with.  Being almost 3, she is still a little young to have items with glued-on features.

I made 3 bigger mice.  One is hot pink, like the ones above, with a cream colored nose.  This time, I made the pompom and tied it through the front of the face.  I hope to have those pictures tomorrow.

Her eyes are heart-shaped red buttons, with a little flower sticker attached.  The bow on hers is sewn on it's head between it's ears.  I think this will work.

I also made a cream colored mouse, and a totally white mouse.  I will also have pictures of those tomorrow.

Everyone at work loved their little mice.  I also gave them a small box of candy hearts with sayings.  It's traditional for Valentine's Day, and something sweet is always wonderful.

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day.  My sweet husband bought me a small orchid plant with white flowers tipped in red.  I still have the orchid plant from last year, and it has little buds on it now.

He bought me some chocolates in a velvet heart-shaped box.  He knows how I love keeping them to store my scrapping items in.  It is beautiful.

The card he bought me is the absolute sweetest he's ever picked up.  I was totally "blown away"!

And here is a little something in a png graphic for you today.  These are 8 small flowers, and can be used freely in your scrapbooking or card making.

I have several kits up now on my website, so hurry on over and check them out.  There is a zip file for downloading the items.  Items are free, and can be found in psp, png, and jpg format.

Till tomorrow; have a great day.  It's almost 4 pm now, so it's almost over.

Take care ... and enjoy!

Free Scrapping Orange and Green Accessories: pngs

Good morning,

And it's Thursday!  Today's pngs are some colorful accessories to decorate your scrapbooking and card making with; yeah!

Orange colors have a vibrant intensity.  You sense warmth and excitement.  According to Woman's World (1/9/12 issue, pg. 21), studies show it can even raise your body temperature!  Wow!

And green is great.  Staring at green can ease eyestrain and tension.

Use accessories digitally or print them out and put them together yourself.

Tips for using:  Make a word circle with the top one:  one or two words in the center.  A blue word would be pretty.  Make a border out of the small ones.   If you use the one with the leaves, reverse the image each time. Or put the pointy end OUTward.  Use three of the plain flower in three different sizes.

How would you use them?

Easy.  Fun.  And FREE!

Enjoy today!

Free PNG Decoration for Scrapbooking or Card Making

Good Wednesday morning to you all,

Today, I've headed back into my folders to pull this decorative box out.  It comes from June 21st of last year.

It is in png format, and can be used as a decoration in a scrapbooking project or in card making.

I work from home today; alas, my vacation has come to an end.

I am starting my journal for 2013; different from my art journal.  I showed you the journal example back in December (around the 16th, I believe).  It has pictures of me and my family from our past, and some of my artwork I've done.  It has the weather for the day and a quote.  I hope to put together a journal for this year.  I'm pulling it all together in a word document, and hope to save it to disk for my kids.  It should be fun!

I hope you all have a productive day, and that you're fully recovered from New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Here's to a great 2013!

A Free Christmas Tag For YOU!

A very good Wednesday morning to you!

Today I'm offering this little Christmas tag with a snowman and a cherub on a flower.  The above is a jpg, but you are free to print it off and use it on Christmas presents.

For those that have a graphics progam (you can still use, even if you don't), here is the border, in case you'd like to use for a base for other scrapbooking or card-making projects.  The individual items are pngs.

This is a cherub I made back on 4/2/11.  I made the flower this morning, and put the two together.  The original cherub had a blue dress, and she was darker.  This graphic has also been reduced down for my tag.

I used a picture of my sculpey snowman before, but here he is again, this time in a tag.  That's the beauty of having tubes of my work.

I didn't like this little sculpey creation so I've since sliced him up, and used his clay in other items.  Ha!  Ha!  That the beauty of re-purposing art I don't like.  But, I took a picture of him before re-purposing him.  He has been offered before, but has been lightened and mirrored.  He had also NOT been baked yet.  Even ugly things have a use.

Christmas tags will be on lots of presents.  I hope you'll find a use for mine.

Happy Wednesday, and have fun creating!

Free Graphics in Png Format-Fun for Scrapbooking

Good morning,

I know I posted one for today, done last night, but things are going well this morning, so decided to post again.

The above decoration features Cyber Monday:  today!  You should still be able to find BIG SAVINGS, and supposedly, bigger than Black Friday.

Here is the deco without the Cyber Monday Title, in case you like to use it another way in your scrapbooking projects.

I told you about making this bear on Saturday morning.  It was fun.  My original is much bigger, but this png above is 2 sizes, 2 colors.  I hope you find a use for him.

Last, but not least, is the bear in party fashion.  There's a little deco and a banner that states, "Yes ... I do love you!"  I have many other sayings on this banner, for my own personal use with the bear in making up my own set of cards.  Would look cute on a tag, too!

Tip that I read today:  courtesy of Woman's World (the 12/3/12 edition now on stands):  when you need to get your car repaired, you don't have to accept the price they charge you for parts.  You can ask what they'll charge you for a part (labor is separate usually), and then you can compare that price with what you can get by going to www.autopartswarehouse.com or www.advanceautoparts.com.  You might save as much as 40% .

Another thing I didn't know is that at www.retailmenot.com, you might just find a coupon code for online auto parts stores!  Yeah!  How wonderful!

So have a great Cyber Monday.  Have fun shopping, but don't overspend.

Enjoy!

Friday's Free PNG Graphics Download--Whimseys-Sea Mouse and more

Good morning,

Friday's free png kit download (free art kit graphics) are up! The picture shows the kit. The blue creature is a Whimsey (number 7).

Whimsey's are created from scribble drawings, and if you've followed any of my blog, you know I love to do scribbles. There's so many things I can find in scribbles.

On my website, I have The Drawing Board. It shows my original scribble and how I outlined it from the scribble. This one is found on today's post: for Friday, 11/12/10. Scribbles are always fantasy-type drawings for the most part.

In this kit, there is a "sea-mouse and rider". You can see it hiding from it's unexpected guest whose come to visit. The sea mouse is in the bottom right-hand corner of the kit.

The sea-mouse was put together from some kaleis, and then I added ears as it looked like a mouse to me.

There is a psp graphic item in the kit with all the layers.

Update on Betzy, my robo dwarf hamster. I finally took her out of her cage last night. It took my husband and me about 20 minutes to catch her. She runs very quickly, and hides in her side bubble, in her wheel, and in her igloo. I lifted the igloo out, and she ran to her wheel. I finally just put the clear ball hole against her wheel hole, and she ran into it.

I popped on the top and put her on the floor. She ran right away, but once she got some distance between us, she stopped. And just sat. I'd go over and pick up the ball, and hold it up toward my face and talk to her. She's try to run again, and this is pretty much how her 20 minutes of being out of the cage went. I think she was happy to be back in her cage.

I gave her a slice of apple last night. She had one on Tuesday, too. She picked it up and began eating it immediately. She definitely likes apples. She stuffed that and some seeds into her pouchy cheek, mostly in her right cheek, so she looks a little lop-sided in the face.

Taylor sent me a video of her holding her hamster, Bella. It's adorable. In the video, she thanked me for buying her her pet. She said she loves Bella, and just loves having a pet. Mom seems to be softening, also. She thinks Bella has beautiful coloring, and loves the distinct, thin brown line down her back. She bought Bella a new wheel, as she doesn't use the fancy, large top wheel at the top -- except to put litter in it. Perhaps she sees this as a place to nest, instead of exercise. But she loves her new wheel.

Yesterday around 4, I developed a stomach ache, and I still have it this morning. Weird! Ick! Hope I'm not coming down with the flu. Miserable way to spend the weekend.

Go over to Easy As Pie Daily Graphics and pick up the kits for this month of November. They are up all month, and taken down in December. Great for little additions to your scrapbooking or card making projects. And; they're free!

Have a great day! Stay safe.

A template for a card or scrapbooking page

Good morning,

Or is it? I am actually having trouble with my website that features free graphics this morning. I went to publish it, and it just isn't publishing.

I will give it a little time. Hopefully, it is a temporary thing.

I have one item posted on it that won't delete. Hmmmm. Quite unusual.

This is the template I made that features the items offered today.

I also posted my finished creation.

I will try publishing again before I leave for work.

Have a great day.

Scrapping Buddies for Scrapbooking and Projects

Good morning,

Ah! The voting is over, and we have a new President. A historic moment for America. What will the next 4 years hold? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Today, this little Scrapping Buddy is available at my website. She is featured dressed in two other outfits and there is a bald blank for you to decorate as you please.

You can find her at:

http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/

On the next days, you will see a few more renditions of her.

Scrapping Buddies are little children for you to place on your scrapbooking projects.

They will add some color and interest.

Here are the 3 on a little deco box.

These were fun little things to make, so I hope you'll enjoy using them.

Today is my last day at the office until next Wednesday. Veteran's Day falls on next Tuesday, and so I thought I'd make it a long weekend. So much to do today.

This weekend, we girls just wanna have fun! The ladies close to my daughter will gather together this Saturday night, for a delightful dinner together. My daughter is getting married next weekend, so this is her last weekend for being single.

Of course, we are all grown women. So we will be having very "mild" fun!

The guys are also going out for "Guys Night Out" to celebrate Danny's last single weekend. My daughter is hoping they are also having "mild" fun! Hey. I'm not worried. I know the guys.

Have a terrific day, and run over to my website to pick up your scrapping buddies.

See you soon!

Halloween Card - 10/31/08

Good morning, once again!

This little creation of my Halloween Card for 10/31/08 became my screen saver at work.

But, it's also great for adding to your scrapbooking pages of the pictures you took this Halloween -- featuring YOUR kids.

The little witch is Witchie Witch, and of course, I'm sure you recognize the "Ghostie" from the previous post ... he was the one waving!

This was a fun little creation.

How was your Halloween? Did you get lots of "trick or treaters"?

Ours was last night between 6 and 8 p.m. One of my friends, Tiffany, said at work: "Friday night is a bad night for Halloween. If you have kids playing sports, they are often on Friday night. Then you have to pick and choose WHICH you want to participate in." Since my kids are long ago grown and gone, I hadn't thought of this dilemma.

We had treaters in our neighborhood. I am sure they had great fun.

An advertising idea: "If you have a scrapping website or graphics website, what a cute idea to make lots of these little cards to give out with your candy ... featuring your own site." While Halloween is over, and you don't have the kiddies coming directly to your door ... you could still do this kind of thing for all holidays! I do it, too, when I'm leaving a tip at a restaurant.

Thanksgiving is coming ... and then Christmas, and, not to be forgotten: New Year's Eve and Day!

Need to pick up some free decorations? Head on over to:
http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/ and see what you can put in your goodie basket. They're free!

Have a really great day!

See you soon.

Note: At work yesterday, they featured a Haunted House in our basement. The price of a ticket was only $1/ea. I'd never gone before, so everyone let me be first in our group.

Waiting outside the door, I kept peering through the peep windows, and everyone kept saying, "Stop peeking!" I finally did, and while I was standing there, there was a very loud THUD on the door. I about jumped out of my skin. It was someone covered in a long black cape and hood.

Shortly thereafter, they let us in. They led us into a very dark room. Black lights, and a graveyard scene with lots of dark, dark mannequins placed throughout. There was a fog machine, so it was all VERY EERIE!!! Gravestones were placed here and there.

"Wow!, " I said. "This is very nice." I had turned slightly back around to address my co-workers. Suddenly, something grabbed me from behind! Those were NOT mannequins dressed up, but very REAL people. I jumped and yelled as everyone expected. It was all great fun! (They did a fantastic job!!! Well worth a $1.00!) And to finish the whole experience off as they ushered us out the door, you got to pick a treat from their basket! How SWEET!

Scrap Book Decorations - Just For You

Good morning,

I've been busy adding decorations to my website.

Here is just a sample of what you can see there. There's hundreds of decorations to choose from.

So, if you like to scrapbook cards or pages or just want some decorations to pick up for your website ... come on over and check these out.

All decorations are free to use.

The items shown here today will be on the page for 9/27. The items are actually bigger, but if you past them into Excel, you can resize them to any size you wish.

It's lots of fun.

Next weekend is my daughter's couples party. I will be providing about 3 batches of potato salad which I hope to start this week. That's a lot of potatoes. I'm also taking a veggie tray with dip, and some ice. Her wedding date is closing in.

This weekend is my future son-in-laws birthday (tomorrow). The couple is in Ky. this weekend for a big party planned by his folks.

My granddaughter is spending the weekend with her dad and his family while they're in town. Her paternal grandfather is having a big party, planned by his family, for him this weekend. He has not been well, and recently had a leg amputated. I wish them well.

The weather in Columbus has been beautiful. Cool days, some sunny, and others overcast, but still beautiful. I love fall. Some of our trees are already changing their colors. We have not had much rain the last part of our summer, while June had more rain than it usually does.

Wishing you all well. And remember. If you like scrapbook accessories -- free ones -- go grab some at http://www.easyaspiedailygraphics.com/.

See you again soon. Have a great weekend.

Scrappers scrap, drawers draw, and bloggers blog!

Good morning scrappers, drawers, and bloggers!

I love to scrap, draw, and blog! And that's why I'm here.

I love to create scrap accessories to use in my own scrapbooking. Accesories are made for cards, envelopes, picture pages, and whatever else I can think of.

Every morning, I sit at my computer; poised to draw today's graphics.

Today, I thought I'd blog about words. Have you ever thought about words?

I was driving to work one morning last week, and saw a sign that said, "Now here". Somehow, in my mind, it played a trick on me, and what I read was "No where." And then I saw what it really said, and thought, "Isn't that funny? I wonder how many other words or phrases are like that?"

Those phrases stuck in my mind when I was creating these kaleis yesterday morning. I didn't really have anywhere to use them, but decided to just put them on this creation. I don't really know what significance these words have to me, but they feel like they are branded on my brain right now.

Maybe it's somehow connected to an accident I had back on June 10th. I was no where in getting my injuries fixed, and this last week, I am "now here" ... at least when it comes to a diagnosis. But again, I feel like I'm back to "nowhere".

I hope you are having a great weekend. It is a beautiful, cool and sunny day in Columbus.

Take care ... and I'll see you soon!
