Creating joy - art accessories

Good morning -- again!

Being that today is Friday, and MY favorite day of the week, I decided to share this creating joy creation with you.

Again, accessories from future art kit paks.

These are quite pretty, I think.

If you're interested in any of the paks, please leave a comment. They are free to use in your own designs.

Have a really terrific Friday. See ya soon!

Art Kit Pak 7

Good morning,

I guess I'm having trouble keeping track of my art kit paks, because I seem to also have 2 five paks, and no 6 pak. Will have to do some updating to these.

This is art kit pak 7. More accessories for decorating. Quite a lovely bunch, I think.

Columbus was expecting a winter storm through last night and all of today. While we have a nice amount of snow on the ground, the weather will not warrant a day off. Darn!

Mind you now, I do like my job. And I'm grateful to have it. But oh how I hate leaving my home.

Here's to a wonderful Friday and a great finish to this week. Back in a moment to feature a creation.

Art Kit Pak 5

Good morning,

Just another day in paradise! The week is almost over.

Introducing art kit pak 5. Still a little red, and some pinks, but other colors, too!

Accessories for cards, bookmarkers, business cards, envelopes, or wherever you can think to place them. That's what they're for.

Jazz up a t-shirt with them, or put on jeans. If you know how to put them on transfer paper, you can do lots with them.

They look good with quotes as well.

Have a great Thursday. See you soon.

Art Kit Pak 5

Good morning -- again!

Another set of art kit paks. The circle around the center item is the size of each item when received. This is the last of the red series for now.

This morning, I was reading on msn about the 10 worst states for employment. Michigan was at the top of the list, with Ohio being 7th on the list. I figured Ohio would be on it, since I experienced difficulty finding a new job several years ago. Wow! What an unpleasant experience.

They also listed the 15 tops states for finding a job. South Dakota was at the top. Most of the states listed were northern states where the weather is cold. The exceptions were Hawaii and New Mexico.

I really hope to never be out of work again until I retire. It's a devastating feeling. No wonder so many people are losing their homes.

Hope you have a great day! See you tomorrow.

Art Kit Pak 4

Good morning,

Art Kit Pak 4 was for Tuesday. Didn't post it, so am posting it today.

Even though some of these items are shown in the example as small, they are all the same size as the far left top item.

The art kit paks in 1-5 are mostly red!

Tuesday was a very busy day at work after the 3-day weekend. Going in was on ice-covered roads until you hit the main roads. It was extremely cold as well as dealing with a blustering wind, so it was a fairly miserable day for all going out. Many schools closed for the day.

On Monday evening, I looked out my patio doors into nothing but white. Snow and wind made a "white out" condition that many were talking about Tuesday. Fortunately, it didn't last more than 15 minutes, so we had no real snow coverage.

Hope your day was a good one. Back in a minute with today's art kit pak.

Exploring Thru Art - Art Kit Pak 3

Good morning,

This creation to the right is one I did for my Eons group posting.

I liked it a lot, so thought I'd post it here as well.

The object is, of course, a kalei.

I was going to post it yesterday, but after posting my first offering, was not able to connect again to my blog. The fun of the internet!!!

I often keep pictures from magazines around for ideas. Colors I like together. Some cute animal. Pictures my granddaughter drew. I have so many that it can cause quite a clutter.

I've heard some say that the way to reduce clutter of these types of things is to put them all together on a refigerator door or wall, and take a picture. You can store the pictures on your computer or put them on a CD.

Today, I read another one in a popular woman's magazine. Put them on a coffee mug or on a mouse pad by uploading the images to shutterfly.com. Now. That sounds like a plan.

The is another art kit pak. It's numbered #3, as the one yesterday was. Somehow when I started these, I did 2 sets naming them both 3. Fortunately, one 3 pak had 8 items and was included in the title to save, and the other ad 11. So, I lost none of the paks, but it makes it hard to know which one is which except that I know one is 8 and the other is 11 items.

Even though the one posted yesterday says 3, it is # 2b. This one is 3.

Today is President's Day, so I have a day off. Lots to do today that I didn't do yesterday. My poor husband is off to work today as usual.

The weekend was granddaughter-free. I missed her smiling face, but I'm sure she'll be back next weekend.

Hope your weekend was great.

Have a good Monday. See you soon.

Art Kit Paks 2b

Good morning!

Another set up art kit paks.

The one on the far left is actually two different kalei accessories. The outer frame, and the inner center are separate.

Today is a cold, gray day out in Columbus. I am looking forward to spring!

I have tomorrow off! Yeah!

I love 3-day weekends.

Hope you have a great Sunday. See you soon.

Art Kit Paks-How To Use 1

Good morning,

My second post for today is to show you an example of HOW art kit paks can be used.

They are simple copy and paste accessories that you add to your own creation to get a finished piece of art.

FREE Art Kit Paks

Good morning!

Do you like art to do your scrapbooking or just to use as tubes for Paint Shop Pro? Do you like FREE?

Well. I do, too! For now, you can get free tubes and tubed items for your artwork.

Behold! Art Kit Pak 1 has 5 items in it. To the left is a flower-like border, with a smaller flower inside. They are separate, but can also be united to be one item.

A larger flower is down on the right hand side.

The top right is a flower and comes in a larger size. The little flower at the bottom left hand side is small, but also comes in a larger size.

I just love making these art accessories. If you would like a free set sent to you, you can visit me at http://www.eons.com/ and look for cj623's profile. You can send me an "im" where I will happily pass you the items for free. You may use them freely, any way you wish, as long as you don't say you created them.

You may use the item in any creations you create, and that creation is yours.

Check back tomorrow for Art Kit Pak 2!

Have a great day!

Be Mine, Valentine!

Good morning,

Only 2 more days till Valentine's Day; not counting today, of course.

Be mine, valentine! is the creation for today. If you'd like to use it for the front of a card, that's okay.

The flower is another of a million kalei's I like to create. I am always amazed at how varied they can be.

Be mine, and ONLY mine! is a phrase you could write on the back.

Hope you are making big plans for your sweetie this Valentine's Day.

Have a great day.

See you soon.

Valentines Day Gift Tag

Good morning!

With Valentines Day coming, you might just need a gift card. If so, please feel free to use this one.

The flower is a combination of two kaleis. I liked the colors of this project.

The border was made from the kalei'd flower.

Romantic-looking for your special Valentine.

Have a great day! See you soon!

I Love You -- From Tay

Good afternoon!

It has been ages since I've posted here, I know. I apologize.

I also have a blog over at Eons, and I do have additional posts there as well as in some of the groups I'm in.

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. I took this picture of Tay this morning. Can you believe she woke up crying with a sore throat, fever, and upset stomach? You can't tell it now.

A little medication, some breakfast, and some one-on-one time massaging her feet put her in a healthier frame of mind. Although she is 7 years old, she still enjoys her mamaw "hand feeding" her, which I did this morning. It was so wonderful to see her smiling again.

Tonight, she, papaw and I will meet up with her mom and boyfriend for dinner out. Mom was going to pick her up early today, but I asked Taylor if she wanted to stay, and she said yes. She is resting, and watching movies today. Even little girls need a break once in a while.

I've missed posting, and hope to become more regular again.

I am back to working overtime at work, which was halted for the Christmas season. That leaves me pretty drained when I get home. And, I've been sleeping in more lately. Just seem to need the extra sleep for now.

Have a great day! See you soon.
